When is the A-Town Get Down?
The 8th Annual A-Town Get Down Art & Music Festival is Saturday, April 21, 2018, from 12pm-10pm.
Where is the A-Town Get Down?
The festival will be held on Indian Street, between Fahm and Warner, under the Talmadge Bridge, in Savannah, GA. Entrance is on Indian Street near Fahm St.

Street parking is limited. We recommend public transportation and the free DOT bus. More information can be found on their website. Stop 27 (post office) is one block from the festival site. https://www.connectonthedot.com/

The rates are $5.00 all day 5am - 5am.
Fairfield Suites Parking Garage
40 Anne Street, across from the bus station

The rates are $3.00 per hour. Overnight parking is $16.00.
If you want to walk we recommend walking from Oglethorpe to MLK to Indian St.
For SCAD students there will be a shuttle running from 12 - 5pm.
What do you recommend I bring?
This is mostly an outdoor festival. Prepare as if you will be outside all day and into the evening. We recommend layers, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, chair or blanket for performances, a poncho in case of rain, a bag to collect all your amazing art projects.
What should I not bring?
Glass, Metal, or Unsealed Containers over 1 Liter
Coolers of any Kind
Weapons of Any Kind
Illegal Substances of any Kind
Professional Recording and/or Photography Equipment unless you have a Media Pass
What if it rains?
This is a rain or shine event. Unless it is dangerous for the performers to perform the show will go on.
Are dogs welcome?
Sure! Please have your dog on a leash, and be prepared to “scoop” up. NOTE - Reference for the City of Savannah, Leash Law - https://www.savannahga.gov/671/Animals-in-Parks-Squares
To be kind to your dog and other attendees please do not bring your dog if a lot of activity, large crowds of people, children and dogs will cause stress on your dog.
Will there be food or vendors?
Yes! We will have the following Food and Marketplace Vendors.
List of Food Trucks that will be on site : Chazito’s Latin Cuisine, Dark Shark Tacos, The Big Cheese, King of Pops, and Platinum Pizza.

I bought a VIP ticket. What does that mean and where is the Friday event?
The Service Brewing VIP Event is Friday, April 20th from 6-9pm at Service Brewing, located at 574 Indian Street, Savannah, GA 31401.
This event is open to VIP ticket holders only. There will be no sales at the door. If you have a ticket please come and enjoy the delicious wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizza of Big Bon, locally-brewed Service beer and live musical guests providing a sneak peek into what’s to come on Saturday. We will also have the VIP swag bags available upon check in at the party. These are inclusive of your passes to the festival, “SWAG” items, A-Town schedule, and meet and greet with the artists of A-Town.
Will there be alcohol?
Yes, Service Brewing Beer, Ghost Coast Cocktails and Wine.
Is the festival site walkable?
The whole festival circuit is less than .25 miles and is very accessible.
What is the age limit?
This is an ALL ages event!
I want to perform!? How do I do this?
Bring your ax, voice or feet and come to the Open Jam 12:00 - 1:15pm at the Queensborough Stage on McGuire Street to perform with other attendees, musicians and A-Town performers.
