Please Save the Date for the first annual A-Town Get Down Fundraiser; Illuminate: Bringing Light to Arts Education. The event will take place on Wednesday September 21st, 2016 from 6:30 P.M. – 9:30 P.M. at the SCAD Museum of Art Alex Townsend Grand Courtyard.
Join us for a vibrant evening of live performances and art installations by previous and future A-Town performers. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres followed by a deconstructed dining experience of local flare.
The evening will entail raising money for the A-Town Get Down Art Education programs and the Alex Townsend Memorial Scholarship Fund. Silent and live auction items will include work from local and international artists and rare autographed donations from music legends themselves.
We will also be making some HUGE announcements for the 2017 A-Town Get Down Festival!
